With the competition’s start fast approaching and nearly 100 tipsters already signed up I thought I would finally unveil the prizes and post my last sales pitch.

Remember to enter your tips before lockout (11PM Friday the 18th) for the first round. PLUS to improve your knowledge of the league don’t forget to read the whispers for the round and the gospel according to seb.

2008 is proving to be an exciting year with the successful launch of the Inaugrual THS preseason cup, the Beijing Olympics and the return of Stuart Dew. However all 3 have just been trumped as The Hockey Show and I have teamed up to bring a tipping comp that will be bigger than Ben {Ryan’s} Hur [hair... please don't hurt me].

Get excited with prizes up for grabs, the new whispers section, a tricked up jive box and match results posted within hours (instead of days *cough* sportingpulse).

With the start of the season fast approaching you need to register ASAP! You can do so by clicking the tipping tab above and following the links or for the computerly challenged click here and simply fill out the form. Entry is free and is sure to be a talking point within the hockey community.

Tipping will usually close late on a Friday night to give all punters the best possible chance to get their tips in – This will help crown a true tipping champion instead of those posers Tom Piotrowski and TEM’s newest spanish recruit S.Dempster.

Prizes will be announced shortly for 1st, 2nd and last place.
